Lana Condor is engaged!

The To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before star announced on Instagram that she said “yes” to longtime boyfriend Anthony De La Torre.

“Saying YES was the easiest decision I’ve ever made,” she captioned her post. “I consider myself the absolute luckiest woman alive to live in your sphere. Aside from my father, without a doubt, you are the greatest man in the world.”

Condor’s ring is an oval centre diamond set in yellow gold with pear shaped and round brilliant side diamonds. It was designed by Chau Lui, the co-owner of Vietnamese Canadian brand Paris Jewellers. For Lana, who was born in Vietnam, it was extra special that De La Torre collaborated with a Vietnamese-owned company to design the ring.

Paris Jewellers started out in a 400 sq. ft. space in St. Albert, AB in 1987. Chau’s parents had recently immigrated to Canada from Vietnam and were working various jobs to support Chau and her sister, Trang. They were given the opportunity to train as goldsmiths, and shortly after opened their small jewelry store. Now, Paris Jewellers has grown to 23 stores across four Canadian provinces.

For Chau, it was a big honour to design the ring for Condor.

“I was so honoured to work with Anthony to co-design this special ring for Lana,” she tells The RepresentASIAN Project. “They are incredible people, and I am truly so happy for them.”
